It’s the eve of WWII, when 17 year old Franz travels to Vienna to apprentice at a tobacco shop and meets Sigmund Freud, a regular customer. Over time, the two very different men form a singular friendship. As war approaches and the city descends into turmoil, the characters are swept up into the larger events that are shaking the foundations of Europe and the world. Starring veteran actor Bruno Ganz (Wings of Desire) as Freud. Contains nudity and sexual content.
