The Spy Behind Home Plate

Award-winning filmmaker Aviva Kempner (Rosenwald) hits another home run with this amazing story of Moe Berg, the Major League Baseball player turned WWII spy. Berg’s extraordinary, improbable story is told with rare historical footage and revealing interviews with an all-star roster of commentators from the worlds of history, sports, and spy-craft.

Film in Portland will be followed by a Skype discussion with filmmaker Aviva Kempner.

Film in Brunswick will be introduced by Paul Linet, life-long baseball fan and aficionado of its history, with discussion to follow.
