Flory’s Flame

Flory’s Flame showcases 90-year-old Flory Jagoda on her mission to preserve and share her Ladino musical heritage.  The film weaves the history of Sephardic music from the Jewish exile of 15th century Spain and Portugal with the story of Flory’s Balkan family in the Holocaust, her move to the U.S. as a war bride and her extraordinary performance in a concert at the Library of Congress with her family.
