Born in Jerusalem and Still Alive

Jerusalem native Ronen, a kind of schlemiel, offers guided tours of famous terror attack sites along Jaffa Road.  He develops friendships and even falls in love, but cannot shake the feeling that death is always right around the corner.  A gentle but insightful look at life for Israelis during dark times.

‘The film’s main achievement is its insight into the experience of Israelis for whom sudden, violent death was a daily reality. Tikkun
