Echo

Echo starts out like a fairytale.  The main character, Avner, has looks, an important job, an intelligent, beautiful wife named Ella, two lovely children, and a gorgeous home on the beach.  But one day he receives a traffic ticket by mail that reveals that his perception of life is an illusion. But what is the truth? As Avner becomes increasingly obsessed with finding out, he starts to record Ella’s phone conversations.  And her words just lead him deeper into the mystery. Beautifully filmed and acted, Echo poses questions about human communication that turn assumptions about relationships upside down. Viewer discretion advised due to sexual content.
