Dr. Mohamed Helmy, a Muslim Egyptian doctor, is the only Arab ever to be recognized by Israel as a “Righteous Among the Nations.” Helmy arrived in Berlin in 1920, studied medicine and in the years before WWII built a successful medical practice. During that time, he met a Jewish girl named Anna Boros, whom he protected by disguising her as a Muslim woman. This astounding documentary uncovers the many extraordinary maneuvers and deceptions he took to save her life, at great risk to his own.
