With joyous honesty, transcending age, this comedy reveals a fascinating cross-section of Israeli culture.  Peter is a customer of Alona in a Tel Aviv café and both are romantically and professionally dissatisfied. Peter, 65, an actor and widower, plots with his cadre of aging Romanian cynics, to start a new political party with the single goal of improving the lives of Widows and Widowers. Alona, a struggling writer aged 28, agrees to help Peter get elected to the Knesset, removing them both from loneliness, but challenging them to move on with their lives. Genuine and endearing performances by its lead actors and superb ironic comic writing make this deeply generous film a non-stop pleasure.

Closing night dessert reception follows the film. Ticket price includes the film and dessert reception.  There will be a cash bar.
