In newly discovered archival footage from 1968 the then 82-year-old former prime minister is interviewed at his secluded desert home.  Over the course of several days, an introspective David Ben-Gurion reflects on the loss of his wife, his personal health and political legacy, and his hopes for Middle East peace. (Documentary, 60 min.)

Following the film will be a discussion with Professor Ilan Troen of Ben-Gurion University who has served as director of the Ben-Gurion Research Institute and Archives, the Stoll Family Chair in Israel Studies (emeritus) at Brandeis University and founding director of the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies.

“…presents the founding father of Israel as an 82-year-old Yoda who saw the currents of history better than those who came after him.” –Variety
