Seret Society

“Seret” means “film” in Hebrew. When you join the MJFF Seret Society you are joining a group of special Festival supporters and receive special benefits.

The Seret Society recognizes MJFF’s most generous individual donors and their commitment to providing a forum for the presentation of films about the Jewish experience that enrich, educate and entertain a diverse community. Seret Society members enjoy opportunities to interact with the Festival as well as others interested in film and Jewish culture. Members join with a yearly gift of $1,000 or more.

Seret Society members:

  • Are invited to exclusive events, such as receptions or dinners with directors, filmmakers and special guests of the Festival
  • Enjoy a private screening of one of the final MJFF films under consideration for selection in the upcoming Festival
  • Receive two tickets to the Opening Night of MJFF, one All Festival Pass and 6 tickets good for any film but Opening and Closing Night
  • Receive recognition as a member of the Seret Society in the Festival Program
  • Receive recognition on the MJFF website
  • Participate in a post-festival gathering with the Festival Director and board members to share thoughts about highlights of the festival and ideas for the continued improvement of our programs.
